Everyone is talking about Earth Hour. Do you still not know what action to take and what is the motive of it?
“Earth Hour is a symbolic event. Turning off our lights for an hour won’t stop climate change but it does demonstrate that our individual action is important and adds up to make a big difference. More importantly, it sends a very powerful message to government and world leaders that people want policies and regulations put in place that can achieve meaningful emission reduction to help fight climate change.”
Earth Hour 2009 aims to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world, inviting communities, business and governments to switch off the lights at 8.30-9.30pm for an hour.
THIS SATURDAY 28 MARCH AT 8.30PM YOU CAN VOTE EARTH BY SWITCHING OFF YOUR LIGHTS FOR ONE HOUR – EARTH HOUR.

If you have watched An Inconvenient Truth before, you know that how serious is the climate change(global warming) and how it affects our cycle. Do you know what is the first animal which will extinct? It’s the very wonderful polar bear.
The Polar is listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act, primarily because the melting of its sea ice habitat reduces its ability to find sufficient food. Wanna know more, do watch this movie.
I also found this wonderful shortclip from youtube, it’s a herd of dogs playing together with polar bears. What a wonderful sight that they get along nicely, it’s such wonderful relationship they have there. I specially love the moment at 1:07, 1:30, 1.42
I bet that most of us have not seen it with our own eyes before. Would you want to your great grand child later not know what a polar bear is? I strongly recommend you guys out there to watch this documentary and start loving your planet, the EARTH.
I was very happy and excited when I found out that you stand a chance to win tickets to Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears in their natural habitat organized by Earth Hour in Canada(brought to you by Frontiers North Adventures and Sears Travel). I’m not too sure if by any chance foreigners stands any chance to win it but I participated it anyhow, coz it’s really one of my big dream to see these lovely creatures. If you know me well, I’m really scared of cold, I really hope I get to win this, I won’t mind of the extreme coldness which I know I’d very much suffer from it, you wouldn’t know how badly I wanted to see it with my own eyes and know more about them. Read more about winning a chance to see polar bear here.
