LOL. Another totally overdue post that should be up like a month back. I’ve heard about Oktoberfest last year but didn’t manage to attend the event
which was held at 1Utama shopping centre. So, didn’t want to miss this chance, Mr. BF even accompanied me to go even he had a swolen eyes and he wore
his sunglasses the whole night. Not exactly whole night but we went there about 7pm and left about 11pm.
If you’re wondering what’s Oktoberfest, “The Oktoberfest is a two-week festival held each year in Munich, Germany during late September and early October. It is attended by six million people each year and has inspired numerous similar events using the name Oktoberfest in Germany and around the world, many of which were founded by German immigrants or their descendants.” as according to Wikipedia.
But over at 1Utama, it’s just a 3 days celebration from 29-31 October with some German dance, local artiste performances, some German food like sausages, and of coz, beers.
#1 Entrance of Oktoberfest at 1Utama New Wing lower ground floor.

#2 It’s the only time that you get to purchase a bottle of beer at ONLY RM1.00. But of coz, it’s only limited to a bottle per One Card membership and you must purchase it with RM0.50×2, meaning to purchase with 2 fifty sens coins.

#3 I met up with Grace and Brilly there. Luckily they went earlier and they got a table.

#4 Grace and me.

#5 Aiks… “zhao gong” here.

#6 So ngam Simon Seow was there. I din realize it was him when he ask if anyone is sitting there till I look up.

#7 Simon bought the Oktoberfest Felt Hat which cost RM15. Cute hor? Like a witch hat, where’s my magic broom? The hat colour also matches very well with my top that day, both are grey.

#8 The menu.

#9 The whole list of beers.

#10 The food booths at Oktoberfest.

#11 I ordered the German sausage from one of the booth. So-so only, and it’s not warm. =.=”"

#12 There were promotion for the beers too, like buy 5 free 1, something like that.

#13 Between Lowenbrau and Hoegaarden, I still prefer Hoegaarden. Lowenbrau taste kinda bitter le.

There were some games which the contestants need to do the German dance, the guy contestants dance totally sux though and one of the pair is Brilly and
Mr. BF. LOL.
#14 Then there were also German dance performed by 5 “German” gals and 2 guys.

#15 The German dance gals.

#16 I know you’ll sure be curious of how the “German” gals looks like. Nah, closer photo for you.

#17 Videos for you too.
#18 The live band performances by the female and male artise are quite good. They have great voice but I’m not too sure of their names.

#19

#20 I went on 31st October which happens to be Halloween day too, some people dress up as monster/killer/ghost/freak/whateverscarrycreature to this event as well.

#21 Brilly look kinda funny here and I gave some dumb expression.

#22 Looks like Simon is scarrier than that freak la.

#23 Photo with the “Germans”. Dun think it’s a German event and those matsaleh are Germans. Dun be fooled coz I asked them.

#24 Their costume very cute le.

#25 The gals costume reminds me of Dutch ladies milking the cows.

#26 Other people taking photo I joined in too.

#27 Another photo. Hehe.

#28 The table beside ours was kinda happening and they bought this big tin(dunno how many pint) of beer for the birthday boy to finish at 1 shot.

#29 Manatau bump into my Mel’s dad there too which happens to be with hanging out with the people beside our table. Her dad so fit le! Join their gym ok? It’s in Subang, nera Subang Parade.

#30 There’s nothing much to talk about but just to share some photos with some newly met friendly people there.

#31 They look so sweet together.

#32 Some group photo taken before we left.

I dun think I’ve even finished one bottle of beer and I’ve already have rashes on the way back and started scratching all over my body when I’m at home.
I only knew I was allergic to wines but now beer too. My friends told me to drink more and often, so should I start tani to get myself immune to it?
