Hot & Roll

The yellow and red coloured booth setup between The Curve and Tesco caught my attention the other day while I was heading to The Curve for some food. So I thought why not try this? I’ve never heard of Hot&Roll before this though. If you love to eat finger food such as Crepes and Roti Canai-like food, then head over to Hot&Roll for a new twist. They serves Crispy Wraps (a very thin cooked pancake made from home recipe flour mix) & Paratha Wraps in 16 flavours and also mini delicacies of more than 10 flavours all in finger sizes.

They’re having a special offer of 2 high protein meat sausages wrapped in wholemeal Chapatti + 1 cup 12 oz of HomeSoy Soya Milk at only RM5.90 (Normal price 9.30). If you plan to try their other food, you’s better share one of the sausage chapatti with your friend coz it’s kinda filling. I ordered one of this but I was too excited to try and forget to snap a photo of it. They added some raw chopped onions, one more ingredient which I’ve forgotten the name, chilli sauce and mustard into it too. Since I dun eat onions and mustard and I told them not to put in, my sausage Chapatti taste kinda like er… sausage + chaptti, get what I mean? Mr. BF’s sausage chapatti has everything and he said it taste good. So, I can’t judge much on this it’s up to you to comment on that.
For the Paratha, they have the savoury or the sweet type. The Savoury Paratha priced at only RM3.90 while the Sweet Paratha is priced at only RM2.90 and you may just add RM1.00 for extra toppings. I didn’t think that the Sweet Paratha would be nice so I ordered Savoury Paratha instead.

Mr. BF ordered for Chicken and Cheese Paratha. Again, I dun eat square peice type of cheese so I skipped that, didn’t even try a mouth. But if you’re a fan of cheese, just try this coz Mr. BF ordered that again the next time we went. I dun think he would have ordered that again if it doesn’t taste good, at all.

For myself, I ordered Satay Chicken Paratha. It’s really like the satay chicken you always eat with the stick replaced by Paratha instead.

There’s chopped raw onions, cucumber, satay minced chicken and satay sauce wrapped up with Paratha. The combination is just great and it leaves me craving for more!

The other time I went and I ordered BBQ Chicken Paratha. I’m quite disappointed they give those processed chicken meat, the ham type instead of unprocessed chicken meat itself. But anyway, nothing to shout about for the BBQ flavour.

Their cooking area. You get to sit right infront of them while they prepare your food. The place is clean and they are hygenic, so, no worries on that.

This is a franchised business and they have braches at Sunway Pyramid LG2.50, The Curve K-G17-W, Summit USJ KLG 12-01. I overheard that there will be a new branch at Pavillion too. Not sure if it’s open by now.
Anywya, I gotta agree that the Paratha itself is nice, I think it’s because of the texture itself but of coz you need some ingredients to eat with it. I still prefer Satay Chicken Savoury Paratha, that’s still my all time favourite! Nom nom nom~

If you’ve tried their other Parathas or their Crispy Wraps, leave me a comment on how’s the food like and I’ll try the next time I go.
