People who have sweet tooth like me crave for dessert at anytime of the day. Has it happened to you that you crave for cakes at 12am? Coz I do. Dessert is one of the thing that shouldn’t be missing in our life. It just helps to liven up a moody day, no?

So, what happens if it’s 12am and you’re craving for a piece of chocolate cake? Bakeries are already closed by that hour.

I came to know there’s a dessert bar in Singapore that opens till 2am which is called 2am:Dessert Bar. I guess you could just tell by reading the name. Oh, it’s located at Holland Village too!

The place is pretty small and located at first floor of another pub downstairs.

However, the ambience is pretty good. You could opt for the high table with high chairs or sofa with a small table and pillows!

Since it’s a bar, you could enjoy a cuppa wine or liquor or beer with ur frens or loved ones with a piece of cake or finger food.

#1 Araguani H2O, $SGD18.00

A 72 percent Valrhona chocolate cake infused with Evian mineral water and with a surprising caramel mousse centre.

This is something like molten chocolate except that instead of chocolate sauce in the middle, it’s replaced with caramel mousse. I dunno bout you, but I certainly didn’t notice there’s Evian mineral water used. LOL. Come’on, water to me is pretty tasteless, I would I know the brand?

#2 Kayambe H2O, SGD$13.00

This is also one of the signature dessert here. It’s made out of Evian water with dark chocolate. It’s a flourless, creamless and butterless chocolate cake, great for those on diet. I think the cookies crumbs at the sides are crushed Oreo and the orange sorbet is yuzu sorbet.

#3 Drumlets, SGD$15.00

Though I love dessert, but I would chose the drumlets over the desserts.

Their desserts is so-so to me, and it’s pretty pricey, but I guess people pay for the environment and ambience. It’s a good place if you’re looking for a place to chill out with ur bestie or loved one or, if you’re craving for desserts in the midnite.

Too bad this bar is located in singapore, perhaps we should have something like there here in Malaysia too, it’ll be really, really great for people like me! ;p
