No, I dun meant it in an unpleasant way. Instead, it’s totally the opposite.

It’s very, Very, VERY, VERY, GOOD. It’s one of those best chocolate cake I ever tried so far. If you’ve been following me, you should know by now that I have really, really sweet tooth. I could have desserts as my appetiser, main meal, or as the dessert itself. I could have it at any time of the day too, be it breakfast, brunch, lunch, hi-tea, dinner, or supper. It’s just something that I couldn’t resist. Dessert is one of the best world creation, too. I wouldn’t understand how one can live without dessert…

So, my dear did told me bout this awfully chocolate heaven which I should try which is called Awfully Chocolate during my trip to Singapore. We visited to the branch at vivo City.

The shop name itself caught my attention due to the word awfully.

So, I must try how awfully good their chocolates are.

My pick was Hazelnut Crumble @ SGD6.90

There’s three layer composed of this cake. I’m not too sure what’s the bottom layer but it tasted to me like dark cookies crumble, something like Oreo, then followed by their chocolate cake/fudge and the top layer is the hazelnut crumble. The hazelnut crumble itself is rather sweet, so make sure every mouth u eat composed of that 3 layers coz the middle and the bottom layer will even out the sweetness of the hazelnut crumble.

My sis’s pick is the Super Stacked Cake @ SGD$8.45 for 130g.

The super stacked cake is a thicker, richer version of their original All Chocolate cake with more bite, with different kinds of chocolate used for the six inner and outer fudge layers. It’s actually priced at $SGD6.50 / 100g. It’s my least favourite among all the cakes and it’s my sis’s favourite. I guess everyone have different preference.

Then, we ordered additional cake to try which is the Cold Poached Chocolate @ SGD$5.60

It’s a soft rich dark cold chocolate invention created by their own cold-poaching method, with choice of fresh liqueur creams. We ordered the Butterscotch flavour which is additional of SGD$1.00, that makes this piece of cake SGD$6.60 . If you love eating chocolates, you will love this, I would say this is more like eating chocolate melts than a chocolate cake. It’s one of my favourite too!

I ordered for a takeway for their Rich Chocolate Cupcake @ SGD$4.90 .

It’s supposedly for a friend but I forgotten to bring it out when I meet her up later that nite and I ended up having that for my breakkie the next day. I love their cupcakes, the cake itself is not too dry and the chocolate is just rich and creamy, it’s so yummy!!! Oh, they do have it in the white chocolate version as well, which is the Rich White Chocolate Cupcake.

They do sell dark chocolate ice cream called Hei, kahlua bars, dark chocolate truffles and other chocolate cakes as well. I’ll definitely visit this shop again for my next trip there and try all their different chocolate cakes and ice cream too. Geez… I guess before visiting this shop I’d have to shed of those kgs first becoz, I’ll definitely gain it all back by eating these sinful chocolates!
