Remember the dark pink candy is usually formed into discs one millimeter thick but sold in bout bout 30 pieces with paper wrapped packaging which u always buy from those uncle who sells small lil packet of snacks at the back of his bike while u were waiting for ur bus or parents to pick u up after school?

Yeap! the haw flakes(山楂饼)! During my time it was probably sold for only 20 or 30 cents only. I wonder what’s the price now.

When I was younger, I didn’t know Haw flakes was actually made from a fruit! It didn’t cross my mind or even bothered to find out how it looks like till my colleague brought his mom’s delicious home made Haw flakes cake to share at work and so I Google it.

Nah! For those who doesn’t know how Haw fruit/berries looks like.

Haw fruit/berries is also known as Chinese hawthorn or shan zha(山楂) or scientifically known as Crataegus pinnatifida. If you think this fruit looks familiar, you’d probably seen it on a stick, tanghulu(糖葫芦) - crystalline sugar-coated haws on a stick.

Btw, back to the cake, it’s Yummy! Great for those who are not totally into sweet stuff coz there’s hint of sourness in it. It also tasted a lil like the fruit cake u usually have around xmas just that it’s a lil more sour.

Aww…. eating this just brings back some childhood memories!

So, here it is!

There are quite a few Yong Tau fu cum lok-lok stall at Mongkok especially near ladies street and so on. Here’s another one that I tried.

Saw the curry fishball and had a sudden crave for it and ordered for 10 fishballs!

And guess what? The fishball is awful. LOL. It’s different from the fishball texture which I usually eat in Malaysia. Their fishballs are like somewhat very rubbery.. yeah. like eating rubber. If you wanna try, don’t order so many at once! Totally regretted it!

#7 Bou Zai Farn

It’s something you should try when you’re in Hong Kong coz they’re pretty famous for that. I had mine at Miu Kai, which was just next road behind of the hotel which I stayed in.

The shop name is Hong Hing (in cantonese) and they have quite an extensive of choices for you to choose from rice with a dish, noodle, pou zai and porridge.

So, we ordered for a pou zai fan, pork ribs porridge, and prawn “biscuit”.

When I first saw the pou zai fan was kinda disappointed coz the char siu was mostly fats, like 90% fats with just 10% meat. Those that have seen me eating char siu fan before would know this is a no-no for me. I’d usually take my sweet time to take off the fat and only eat the meat. But the smell of the pou zai fan was just too irresistible. I took a one small bite of the char siu and the lap cheong (chinese sausage) with the rice. WOW! It totally opens up my appetite for more!

Porridge has always been been my favourite food and I’d got to say their pork ribs porridge is really tasty! It must have been left cooking in the pot for the whole day.

You could just taste the sweetness from the ribs in the porridge!

Okay.. I dunno what is this call, I call it fried prawn “biscuit” (direct translated from chinese) recommended by the lady boss. It’s actually the samething as oh jien but they use prawn instead of oyster.

Miu Kai was quiet at that time. The stalls/booths are closed and you can see the people busy packing up and cleaning the road. The shop was about to close and we were the last customer at the shop. The lady boss was really friendly too and she offered us a bottle of free beer.

How nice of her!

#8 Noodle House

We went to this noodle house which I think located somewhere in Mongkok.

You just gotta visit places like these.

The place is cramp, the seats are limited, people are busy, and some uncles come here for lunch topless!

We din exactly order for noodle but order for pork chop and ham with spaghetti and tofu vege rice in soup.

I dun remember what’s the taste of the spaghetti but I guess it was alright.

The tofu vege rice in soup tasted somewhat weird but interesting.

==============================================

I suddenly missed the food I had in Hong Kong, drooling by just looking at the photos.

When you’re in Hong Kong, there are some food that you just gotta eat. For example, their famous Polo Pao (Pineapple bun), egg tarts, dim sum, wanton noodle, etc…

Earlier on, I tried out pork lard mee, purple glutinous taufufa, desserts at Tong Pak Fu, and Honeymoon Desserts.

I din manage to try all, but I definitely will for my next trip there which I don’t think it’ll be happening any time soon.

But here are the few street food I managed to try.

#1 Wan Tan Noodle

It has got to be those small lil shops at the road side something like those hawker style. So, I managed to spot this noodle house while walking around in Mongkok.

I ordered for a bowl of Wanton noodle in soup.

The noodle was springy, the soup is pretty light (unlike the ones we have here which is full of pepper, salt, and MSG). The best part is the wanton itself! The whole prawn (not minced, kinda like a lazy man’s job) and minced meat is wrapped with the wanton noodle. The noodle shop I went serve really fresh prawns and the noodle is served with 6 big wanton. I kinda like it and I think it’s better compared to Malaysia’s wanton where you taste more of the meat or probably just the wanton wrapper than the prawns.

#2. Yong tau fu cum lok-lok stall

You’ll see such stalls there. So, just go there and select your choices and they’ll re-fried it for you or you can do it the lok-lok way.

Things here to try would be:-

Sausage wrapped with bacon.

Pretty good but the bacon could be quite salty.

Fried large intestines.

I dun think this is for everyone, really. The first mouth you’d probably find it interesting, but when chew on, you’ll probably find it taste weird. That could be, becoz it’s LARGE INTESTINES.

and Stinky tofu (Chao taufu).

Stinky tofu is a form of fermented tofu that has a strong odor. Again, this is not for everyone but it’s not as smelly as I expected it to be. People always say that you can actually smell it like a street away. It’s smelly but nice to eat, weird right?

#3 Dumplings

Went to a shop to have lunch and tried their dumplings, it’s pretty good!

Too bad that I couldnn’t try other stuff as they serve really big portion of fried rice just for a person.

#4 Dinosaur shell?

I dunno what is this called as I was in a rush to buy this and continue with my last minute shopping, but I call it dinosaur shell. Anyone mind correcting me?

This is something like crepes, it’s very crispy!

#5 許留山 Hui Lau Shan

As for desserts to lookout for would be from the chain restaurant /dessert shop called 許留山 Hui Lau Shan.

They’re everywhere like mushrooms! Hui Lau Shan is actually the most famous restaurant in Hong Kong that serves healthy and quick desserts. If I’m not wrong, they only serve mango desserts.

The one I ordered was mango sago coconut. It was a real refreshing juice for summer!

But between desserts from Hui Lau Shan, Honeymoon desserts and Tong Pak Fu. I’d still prefer the shaved ice from Tong Pak Fu, they’re unbeatable!

#6 McDonald’s Sundae ice-cream in Chocolate and Mango sauce

Okay this is not a street food but I just wanna include this here. I’m not sure if this is only served for a limited time in Hong Kong but I’m pretty sure they don’t serve this in Malaysia.

The combination of chocolate and mango sauce is totally awesome! And the best part? They serve in the big cup! Means you have more of it! =D

There were a lot of street food that I din manage to try, perhaps I shall leave that to be my reason to visit Hong Kong soon again!

Mine was at a Middle-Eastern restaurant, Laziz Reataurant, eating chicken authentic middle-eastern cuisine.

But before that, friends and I have adi cam-whore while waiting for the rest to arrive.

Chun Sin and I. Leng chai right? I always say he’s my brother coz we both have dimples. =p

I would have spoken in their local language, if I really do know.

When dining at Middle-east restaurant, there’s something that always comes to people’s mind. Yes, the Shisha!

But we din have any Shisha on that day though.

While waiting for our delicious food to arrive, we did what we do best.

Yann and me

Voon and me

I ordered for a cuppa Ginger Tea (RM7). Love the gingerness!

Our appetiser is Laziz Mazza (RM35) which is a combination of Hommos(Hommos blended with tahina paste topped with olive oil), Mutabal(Grilled egg-plant mashed into a dip mixed with Tahina paste), Wara Ainab & Arabic Salad. The salads are tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, mint leave and lemon juice.

Put the salads and sauce on the pita and chew it away!

Strongly recommended! I, myself who doesn’t really fancy eating greens and hate trying new food totally love this dish. The veges are really fresh and it’s very appetizing. This is quite a big dish though, order this if u’re dining in a bigger group or alone, if you’re a salad fanatic.

I dun eat lamb, so my choices are down to fish or chicken. So, I ordered for Shish Tawook (RM24) which is one of the popular dishes at Laziz.

It’s basically a boneless chicken breast meat. If the chicken eaten alone would be a lil too dry, that is why it’s there’s a sauce which is mayonnaise-like which comes together with the dish. To be served on pita.

My friends ordered for Laziz Mix Grill (RM39).

It’s A combination of Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, lamb cubes & lamb chop.
I can’t comment much on this coz I dun take lamb, but according to Yann, the Shish Kebab is superb. juicy and yet still remain how a lamb should taste like even added with spices. Recommended for those lamb lovers.

Yann ordered for Briyani Chicken (RM 25). With finest basmati rice cooked with the middle east way, with herbs and spices.

You can choose whether you want the rice to be served with fish, chicken or lamb. Yann ordered for chicken. The chicken itself less of taste but the rice is just so aromatic. One word, their Briyani rice is awesome!

If you’ve not tried any middle-eastern food before, then probably you would want to consider dining at Laziz Restaurant.

Oh..a group pic before we left!

Btw, Yann suggested to wear a xmas colour theme clothes to our dinner, the colours are red, white or green. I would have gotten the best dress if there’s an award for that nite!

Merry Christmas to all~!

Earlier, I joined the other bloggers to enjoy Flavours from Bali at Eccucino at Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur. The guest chef is from Bumbu Bali Restaurant & Cooking school all the way from Bali. If u din know yet, Bumbu Bali Restaurant was voted by the readers of Miele Guide as one of the best restaurants in Indonesia in 2009/2010.

Looking at all these beautiful delicacies reminds me of all the delicious food I had in Bali. I was really lucky to be given the chance to experience the traditional cooking and treating myself to these delicaies. Among them are slow-roasted chickens and ducks in banana leaves, grilled seafood; tantalizing sates, soups from banana stems, green papayas and mushrooms, a selection of vegetarian dishes and a selection of Balinese cakes, black rice pudding and tropical fruits. Nom, nom, nom! Know why I say I’m lucky now?

We were so eager to sink our teeth into this huge burger like the vampires can’t resist the temptation of blood to sink their teeth to the neck of an innocent human being.

Okay, we almost chew the paper model of it.

The complimentary bun given is really nice. Soft and warm, looks like it’s fresh from the oven. It still taste really good even without the butter.

The guys ordered for 2 cup of 1-pint Hoegaarden.

I sticked to warm water anyway.

We ordered for a bowl of Mushroom Soup, RM12.90. Nothing to shout about, it’s a lil too diluted. I would prefer those Wild Mushroom Soup with chunks of wild mushrooms in it.

The Rostti Potatoes-Bacon(RM15.90) is totally awesome. I din say that just becoz I love potatoes(okay, probably coz it’s potatoes), the chunks of bacon and potatoes blend really well, very tasty. Let me explain how tasty is it… It’s tasty till that i din really mind the onions in it(FYI. I DUN EAT ONIONS. The usual me would’ve take all the onions out from the food). I think Hui Wen and I ate the most of it.

Next is the Roast Pork Knuckle (RM29.90) which I think it’s pretty good as well, especially the skin, it’s really crispy.

If we were to eat only pork burger will be too stuffed for us, so, on the healthy side, we ordered for a Large Miaxed Salad Plate, RM15.90. Our plan was supposed to be eating a few mouth of burger, then eat the mixed salads, then continue with the burger again. But even before the burger arrived, we’ve almost finished the plate of mixed salad.

Finally, the moment has arrived! THE MATTERHORN IS HERE! I feel really full and stuffed just by looking at the burger itself, it’s so big that it looks kinda scary, this monster is a nightmare for me. But it could be another carnivore’s long awaited dream.

The burger measures 22.9cm X 15.2cm(9″X6″) and consisted of 11 slices of Swiss cheese together with generous slices of tomatoes, gherkins, bacon, lettuce and a 2.75kg of pork patty topped with special burger sauce tucked in a homemade bun. The patty itself is also bigger than my brain.

Since we did not buy any cake for Daniel, The Matterhorn shall be his birthday cake. This will definitely his most unforgettable birthday ever. Who would use a huge burger as a cake?!

Let me tell you one of the benefits of The Matterhorn. By holding The Matterhorn beside our face, we could compare who have the biggest face too.

These monsters just couldn’t wait any longer.

The birthday boy cutting his birthday “cake”.

The price of The Matterhorn is RM88++, I’m not too sure what’s the exact price but ours was priced at RM112. Despite such a huge patty(Imagine, 2.75kg of patty?!!!), I’m surprise that the texture and the taste is still good.

If you’re adventurous enough, take on The Matterhorn challenge at any of the branches of Euro Deli.

Time: 45mins

Prize: Free burger (price of RM88++ waived), a mystery gift & cash reward of RM100.

As spoken to the staff there, so far there’s only ONE person who is a mat salleh(foreigner) managed to finish the burger at the challenge time, timed at 43 minutes. Too bad that he didn’t take up the main challenge(Prize worth of RM888) which so happens to fall on the next day he ate the burger as he couldn’t register for the challenge on time. I can’t imagine if he finished this burger and take up the challenge the next day again. That would be a disaster, totally meat overloaded.

If you’re wondering how this burger is made. Then watch The making of The Matterhorn.

I dun think I would want to eat burger for the next 1 month. Not becoz the burger isn’t nice, it’s becoz I had too much of it already.

I gotta admit, I have sweet tooth, desserts like ice-creams, chocolates, puddings, cakes, sweet dessert soup are totally to die for no matter how full I am. I shall say, a meal is never complete without desserts. Agree?

After eating desserts at Honeymoon Dessert and our main course of Pork Lard Mee at Ren He Shan Bao, Emilz took us to a shop where the shaved ice is a MUST TRY!

I’m totally up for it! Although we have taken desserts as appetizer earlier. LOL.

We went there about 10~11pm and walk through quite a journey from the MTR before reaching Tong Pak Fu. This branch is pretty hidden, it’s located at one of the quiet and dark road, you’ll see lights from a shop with customers waiting outside, I dun think tourist like us would be able to find it.

So, there were we at 糖百府 – Tong Pak Fu. No. This is not the Flirting Scholar of Tong Pak Fu Dim Chao Hiong (唐伯虎點秋香) movie. It’s a cafe restaurant which specializes in Taiwanese desserts especially the shaved ice. They are quite famous, you’ll see lotsa write ups on newspaper about them.

It seems to be popular among the locals here. It was packed and I was quite surprise to see the line ups outside the shop.

But lady luck was with us, we found a table in less than 5 minutes! (others who came earlier were still waiting!)

The ambience at Tong Pak Fu is kinda comfortable. You can sit there and have a nice chat with ur friends while slowly enjoying the shaved ice, but dun hog the table for too long la… coz a lot of customers waiting outside.

The shaved ice is unlike the usual ice-kacang or ABC we eat here in Malaysia where we still need to bite the ice when eaten. Their ice are flavored and thinly shaved, it’s really light and fluffy in texture like eating clouds, literally. It melts immediately the moment you put in your mouth!

Green Tea Matcha Shaved Ice Milk (宇治金时) – HKD$ 35, about RM14.40

Green tea Matcha Shaved Ice Milk have strong Green Tea taste and it comes with green jelly, white tapioca pearls, grass jelly, red bean and condensed milk.

I totally love the part where you can taste the green tea together with the condensed milk, I wallop almost the whole bowl of this.

Emilz ordered for Horlicks Shaved Ice Milk (好力克秋香) - HKD$ 35, about RM14.40

The toppings are strawberry, cotton candy with crystal pearl (these are direct translation from mandarin). The Horlicks shave ice taste kind unique but I dun really fancy it, Horlicks just doesn’t go well with the sour strawberries.

The Pomegranate Shaved Ice Milk (石榴秋香) – HKD $38, about RM15.60 is the best among the three we ordered.

The promegrenates shaved ice is really refreshing, it’ll be great dessert to cool you down on hot weather.

The toppings are honeydew, crystal pearl and another thing I’m not too sure what is it called. I think this is the crystal pearl, it is not the usual pearl which you need to chew. Pop it in your mouth and you”ll taste the juices of passion fruit.

I totally recommend this!

I’m not sure why I see mango desserts every where in Hong Kong. If you couldn’t decide which to order, then try ordering mango series, you can never go wrong as their mango are really fresh, sweet and juicy! They also have specialties which is available on certain days ONLY.

They do have other specialties as well. I’m salivating by just looking at these pics. Damn!

I regretted that I din order their Durian Shaved Ice Milk and dun have a chance coz it seems to be available during summer ONLY. =( I’m dying to know the taste of durian shaved ice. Anyone able to share with me?

Besides that, you can actually customize your own shaved ice with toppings too! I din customized mine coz I have totally no idea which goes together the best.

Dun forget to hunt for this when u make a trip to Hong Kong k? The branch I went to is located at Hak Po Street (黑布街), Mongkok. It’s a MUST MUST MUST TRY.

Oh yeah..try going to their toilet.! The toilet is actually outside their shop and they’ll pass you this.

So, do you prefer to unlock the door with the key or spanner or both is needed?

When met up with Emilz in Hong Kong, she took us to a shop located in one of the street in Mongkok to try their Pork Lard Mee and some nice taufufa.

The shop name is called Ren He Shan Bao (人和三宝). She doesn’t know the street name, but knows the way there and I din take note of the street name while I was there as well.

So, when she told me about their Pork Lard Mee(Yao Cha Min) I actually thought it’s something like our Hokkien Mee with lotsa pork lard. She told us to add on the tai cheong (large intestine).

It turns out to be fat mee in clear soup with lotsa pork lard and large intestine on top. The mee and soup is pretty tasty (of coz! there’s pork lard in it!), but I din eat the pork lard at all. I dun eat fats since young, I’ll scrap it off especially in char siu and siu york which my bf hates me ordering that coz I’ll take hours (okay..this is exaggerated, not that long) to remove the fats.

So, as for the taste of the large intestine, it’s kinda chewy with pretty strong taste. I dun exactly know how to describe it but it’s definitely not something I would want to eat again, but you should always try, who knows you love it?

Mr. BF ordered for shark fin mushroom soup, the shark fin should be those fake ones. It tasted alright.

Oh yeah… they sell taufufa with different kinda toppings. They have purple glutinous rice, black glutinous rice, yam, mango, green bean, red bean, coconut, or fresh fruits for topping.I ordered purple glutinous rice taufufa since taufufa and glutinous rice are my favourites.

I’ve never heard of purple glutinous rice before this, in fact I din even know it exist! The taufufa is smooth and the purple glutinous rice taste kinda like black glutinous rice, just that it’s purple instead of black.

Btw, if you’re wondering what’s large intestine and it’s function in the body, read it from here. In short, this is where the the body holds the faeces until it’s ready to be released. Okay… enough said, I dun wanna elaborate further, it makes me wanna puke.

I can’t believe I actually ate that a few of that.

So, when I met up with one of my long lost primary friend – Emilz, who have not contacted for the last 13 years, I told her about this place and she brought me to Honeymoon Dessert @ Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong.

It was pretty packed, but thank god we found a small corner table which could fit 3 of us.

This place kinda reminds me of The Library @ The Curve, Malaysia due to it’s books wallpaper interior.

Anyway, who would want to go such places to study? =,=”"

I’ve already have one dessert on my mind, which is Durian & Thai Black Glutinous Rice, $HKD 36 (roughly RM15.40).

This dessert comes with frozen durian ball and frozen black glutinous rice in vanilla sauce. I guess the way to eat it is to stir to mix before enjoying it spoon by spoon. Dun worry if it doesn’t look appetizing after stirring, coz trust me, it taste great.

I’m not sure if it’s becoz I have this huge craving for durian recently, and that black glutinous rice has always been my favourite, and vanilla always taste great, the taste of this 3 combination is explosive! Well, at least for me. It’s like one of the awesomest dessert I’ve ever eaten. Seriously, a MUST TRY if you’re a big fan of durian.

WARNING : DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRY THIS IF YOU TOTALLY HATE DURIAN. Coz there’s no way you would enjoy this dessert and it’ll be such a waste if you eat it! Let others have it!

Hmm.. I forgotten what’s the name of this dessert but it has got Mango, Pomelo and Sago.

This is pretty good as well (I’ve never eaten anything with mango which taste awful).

We wanted to try something special, something more adventurous which couldn’t get it any where else.

That’s when we came across Baked Mashed Taro Sago Pudding [hot], $HKD 24 (roughly RM9.90).

It kinda looks like baked cheese but it taste like warm mashed yam.

This wouldn’t be my recommended dessert, order something else k? (But no ones stops you from trying)

Anyway, Honeymoon Dessert sounds pretty familiar to me. Guess what… I just realize that they have a branch here in 1Utama, Malaysia. It’s one of those shop which I walk past every week but have never step a foot in before!

I couldn’t find Durian & Thai Black Glutinous Rice on their online menu, I’m so gonna check their branch out here in Malaysia!

We were supposedly to leave house at 6.30pm but thanks to Chun Sin the driver who gave the excuse traffic jam and only fetch us at 7pm. Arghh… I wonder if he was really caught in the jam or at home grooming up.

Anyway, we went to The Magnificent fish & chips bar which they serve really AWESOME fish & chips. It reminds me of the fish & chips in Fremantle, Perth. Geez.. I miss that so much.

But the funny things is that their food menu have to check from the board on the wall and there’s so many types of fish for fish & chips.

So, we ordered Barramundi @ RM36.00.

Tarahiki @RM38.00. From my opinion, Tarahiki taste better than Barramundi. Barramundi smell more….more.. fishy.

Grilled Prawns with Lemon Butter @ RM36.00. These prawns are recommended by the waiter there and it’s really fresh and juicy. It comes with 5 prawns that makes it about RM11/prawns. Kinda pricey though coz it’s not super huge prawns.

Hm.. I forgotten what’s the name of this dish. Anywya, it’s RM36.00

Remember to dip the garlic bread in the sauce, it’s really nice!

The service is really good, we didn’t know that Tarahiki actually comes with salads instead of chips until the food is on our table. We requested to change to chips instead and they did! Cool. Then after while, one of the server of chef asked if we would like to have more garlic bread and those are actually FOC.

From the restaurant name, you’d probably have figure out this place is somehow related to tea. Oh yeah, they specializes in tea. They did their research and there’s even this lady who is a tea specialist who will be patiently explain how they brew the tea and also the functions of different type of teas. If you have insomnia, headache, stress and so on, you could ask the tea specialist to recommend the type of tea which can help to ease the pain.

After tasting all the hot and cold drinks, here’s the time to enjoy the food.

Starter of the night is Sauteed Sausage with Ikan Bilis (with Cili Padi) . The taste and texture of ikan bilis blends really well with the sausage and it’s a little spicy. I would say it’s a great combination!

Next up is the Shrimp Cocktail in Wasabi Mayo . The shrimps are pretty huge and fresh with just the right amount of wasabi mayo on it.

The last starter we had is Caesar Salad with a dash of Anchovy in Olive Oil.

If you’re a big fan of sandwiches or bugers then you should really try their Roast chicken Sandwich Coated with BBQ Sauce** comes with side salad. The toasted bun is filled with a deboned chicken thigh brushed with BBQ sauce (or you can choose honey lemon mustard). – RM10.90

Prawn and Fish Paste Mee Hoon Soup** is cooked in MSG-free stock with fresh prawns and qunelles of homemade fish paste. If you’re in the mood for noodle and MSG-free soup, then opt for this dish, it’s definitely healthier than any other noodle soup you have at the hawker stall. – RM8.90

Special Kampong Fried Rice with Sambal Sotong** is one of the dish you wouldn’t resist. The fried rice itself is tasty enough and it’s served with sambal sotong and crispy lil ikan bilis. This dish really helps open up your appetite! Yummy!!!

Next dish is totally my favourite – Black Pepper Seafood Udon (spicy)**. I can’t resist the black pepper taste with the springy udon. The black pepper is at the just right amount, so dun worry bout the spiciness. I think I wallop the most from this plate. I highly recommend this dish! – RM16.90

People usually would preferred Carbonara sauce for their pasta. If you’re one of them, then order Creamy Mushroom Pasta (Mushroom Carbonara). The pasta is fried till a lil dry but the sauce is not too thick, it’s creamy and cheesy enough. – RM13.90

If you’re not a big fan of cream based pasta or don’t want to have something too heavy, then opt for Aglio Olio with Prawns – flavoured with extra virgin olive oil, herbs and a sprinkle of paprika. This is one of my favourite as well – RM13.90

Pan-grilled Dory fillet slathered with Honey Lemon Mustard Sauce, (which is a blend of wholegrain mustard with honey and lemon juice). Hooray for this dish coz no salt or sugar added here so the dish is even good for diabetics. My dad has always worried bout his sugar level and intake, this is difinitely a good news for him.

Lamb Chop in Black-pepper Sauce** is also one of the chef recommendation dish. I dun eat lamb so I can’t comment much on this. – RM18.90

Another dish which I dun eat is Sirloin Steak in BBQ sauce. But from the looks of the dish, it looks darn tasty. From the expression of other bloggers who ate it, I should say, they pretty much enjoyed it! – RM25.90

Well fried on the edge and on the skin of the chicken yet the meat is soft inside that shower with brown sauce is hard to resist. Chicken Chop in Brown Sauce .

***** All the western food you can choose on your dressing with ‘Brown Sauce, Black Papper Sauce,Honey Lemon Mustard Sauce and all serving is served with creamy pan-roasted potato cubes + fresh garden salad *****

By the point we finish the main dishes, our stomach is pretty much filled up already. But then, there’s always room for desserts. There’s no way I gonna skip dessert in my life.

Imagine I can have each of this, fuiyoh, total shiockness! If only my stomach could fit it each of it! Each of it is priced from RM2-RM6.90.

Snow Fungus + Rose Sweet Soup** – Home made, unique in taste. This is not like those tong sui you can get anywhere.

Jasmine+Green Tea Mousse Cake** (rose-petalled melt-in-your-mouth mousse cake served with sliced strawberries and a cut-out chocolate heart. Green Tea base and top jasmine layer have a drizzle of rose and jasmine honey vinegar)

Chocomarie Bar – looks like a brownie but the use of chopped marie biscuits with dark chocolate is to give it a lighter taste.
