So, I was lucky enough to receive the invitation to  We Not Naughty (孩子不坏) movie Gala Screening last Thursday at the foyer of GSC, Tropicana City Mall.

There were meet & greet session with the actors that night! The emcee of the night is DJ Max, from OneFM.

The special guest of the night is Miss Malaysia World 2011, Chole Chen.

And then, the moment that everyone were waiting for, the cast of the movie with the director!

If you didn’t know yet, Joshua Ang and Shawn Lee was the cast of I Not Stupid and I Not Stupid 2! Yes, those 2 boys are all grown up and handsome guys now! Ah crapz…. that also means I’m getting older now too. =\

There were Q&A session and hang signed notepads to be given out. They were really friendly and funny that night, I bet all the audiences had a great laugh there too.

And I won myself the notepad too, the questions were really, really simple. =)

Anyway, let’s talk about the movie.

We Not Naughty is a poignant story which examines the problems faced by parents with their rebellious children in Singapore’s current society.

Synopsis
Wei Jie and Jian Ren are best of friends in school, and they both face their share of family problems; Wei Jie has a gambling addict father and his mother who does not think highly of him always condemns him. Jian Ren comes from a well-to-do single parent family but has an estranged relationship with his mother. He becomes rebellious to spite his mother and even becomes a runner for the loansharks. They both share the talent and interest on gadgets inventions but their efforts are never recognized. CK, as their lecturer, tries to build a rapport with the boys but ends up being snubbed. His patience pays off and the boys end up seeking help from him for their family problems. CK even help the boys to create an invention for a competition. However, their invention is misused by the loansharks and in an attempt to stop that, CK, Wei Jie and Jian Ren’s lives are at risk.

Thumbs up for this movie I would say! I like how this movie touches many aspect of life, especially about relationships between family, friends, and teacher and students. It also touches the topic of internet bullying and how it could affect one’s life, which it is also a serious issue nowadays since most people now are on social network. It brings up a lot of morale issues we face in our society nowadays.

Oh yeah, you get to see semi nude Daniel Chan in the movie too. Hehe =p

This movie is worth to watch! It is touching, sad, and also, a lot of funny too.

There were this particular scene CK’s wife had to give birth in the middle of nowhere with the help of Wei Jie and Jian Ren, that part was super duper funny. I laughed so hard that I think I almost hit on the seats infront of me. LOL.

This is what happens to Paul Conroy, a US contractor working in Iraq. Paul and several other convoys were ambushed by insurgents, all he remembers that all other truck drivers were killed before he blacked out. The next thing he knew, he was already buried alive in box.

“Buried” is a 2010 Spanish/Australian English-language indie thriller-horror film directed by Rodrigo Cortés.It stars Ryan Reynolds, Anne Lockhart and Ivana Miño. There are unexpected things happen in between, it keeps your heart racing till the end and a twist at the end of the story.

I totally love this movie, although the whole movie is only filmed at one scene, it keeps making you wonder what would happen next. It makes you feel as if you’re in the situation, and what would you do in there.

I’m a mild claustrophobic. I’d totally freaked out, probably blacked out another time. I get panic attack sometimes when I’m all alone in an elevator, a locked room or an a toilet. I want to shout, but my voice will never be heard, screaming loudly in my head. With all sweaty palms, and shaky legs, I just want to get out of those place immediately.

I tried to learn to control, to divert my attention to anything else; such as looking at my shoe, my clothes, my hair, my face and try not to think about anything else.

“Buried” is a nerve wracking movie will leave you in a deep thought.

What would you do if u’re Paul Conroy?

I’ve always love to see the ever pretty and sexy Jennifer Aniston. NO. I’m not lesbian just that I love to see any pretty things or people, don’t you too?

How bout the macho, sexy and handsome Gerard Butler? Especially when he acted in 300. Can’t take your eyes off him too right? Come on… I know how much you love seeing him in movie!

This time around, Both Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are starring in a movie together -  Bounty Hunter (From the director of “Hitch”).

Bounty Hunter Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), gets his dream job when he is assigned to trace down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston). He thinks all that’s ahead is an easy payday, but when Nicole gives him the slip so she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up, Milo realizes that nothing ever goes simply with him and Nicole. The exes continually one-up each other – until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honor and obey was tough – staying alive is going to be whole lot tougher.

I know running into your ex is awkward, but if you get a chance to arrest him/her, it’ll be the best job ever! Especially if she/he ever done something sorry to u! I bet Bounty Hunter will be a funny, romantic and an action movie. I can’t wait for the persuit to begin on 11th May in Malaysia!

You wouldn’t know how much I craze over Twilight Saga. I wasn’t at first, till my dear sis insisted me to watch Twilight movie. Then I go WOW… DOES EDWARD CULLEN REALLY EXIST?! Then, I read the book –  Twilight and totally got hooked! I couldn’t stop flipping the pages till late night and had to set a time for remembering to sleep, else I can read till the wee hours. I brought New Moon to read in the flight during my trip to Perth too. My usual “business” time in toilet was long enough, but, Twilight Saga makes me hang out at the toilet even longer! (I got a habit of reading in the toilet >.<).

The Twilight Saga without Eclipse coz my sis took it but fret not, I have Twilight Saga in my iPhone! Yeah baby, it’s in my iPhone! I read them anywhere, anytime now. And yeah, I read them in my toilet, again!

Reading Twilight Saga really makes me thought that this fantasy may be real, is there such perfect vampire and friendly werewolf around? Will Edward one day stuck his teeth to my neck? But back to reality check, does vampire or werewolf even exist?! I just couldn’t get enough of the Cullen Family and of coz, Jacob Black!

The naughty and cheeky – Emmett. The ever beautiful and gorgeous – Rosalie. The friendly and predicts future – Alice. The quiet ones – Jasper.

And of course, the young, tanned skin, good looks, buffed body – Jacob Black.

Geez…. I couldn’t get enough of them and start reading about the casts, checkout Twilight Saga on Wikipedia, join the Facebook fans, google the casts, download the casts’ onscreen and offscreen photos, and even the whole Twilight single which I listen every night to sleep.

The book is really good, I’m not only talking about how they describe Edward and Bella deeply in love and passionate about each other, about how much Edward wants Bella’s blood, but how Stephanie Meyer describe each and every single detail that you can imagine without watching the movie, I also like how Stephanie Meyer describe about the good vampires unite and fight off the evil vampire to protect Bella who is just too curious and found out about the vampires and even fallen in love with one, how does a friend who is always be there to cheer up. My favourite is actually Jacob Black instead of Edward Cullen coz he is more down to earth, more real (he is half wolf half human k?). Dun just read what I say, go read the books and watch the Twilight and New Moon movie!

Oh gosh…… Why is 25th November seems to be forever?I can’t wait to watch how Jacob transform into a werewolf and watch him howl! Will my four puppies turn into werewolf by then too?

Twilight Saga have really gotten into me now.

This is a week outdated post but photos are taken, so let me just blog bout it. This will be a long post.

I had my Valentine’s day lunch/dinner at the Market. Yes, I repeat, MARKET. But, this is non-ordinary market. It’s such a clean, nice atmosphere, nice temparature, and a market which you need passport to enter. Any idea yet? Ok, give you a hint., see the below photo.

So, do you know where is it yet? It’s Marché @ The Curve . I kinda like their concept as it looks something different, it makes you feel like you’re at a highclass market, which you won’t feel uncomfortable with the smell, the floor is clean, and you dun get sweaty people pushing you around. Eww~ Best of all, you get to dine at ease.

First of all, this is my passport. You’ll be given this so called passprt when you enter. Whenever you order a food at any stall, they will give you a chop on it. Then, you can either walk around, wait there or back at your place and go back again to the stall at the estimated time given to collect your food. But make sure you don’t lose it, there’s a penalty of RM200.00 as you need to return the passport when you paying your food when leaving.  Unless you plan to eat more than RM200.00 then you mat try to lose the ticket. =p

Once we’ve chose our table, they helped us to change the status of table to  occupied.

Okay, it’s time to walk and order the food.

First stop, we orderred for grill chicken.

If you prefer fish or seafood, the stall are just beside it.

Next stop, we orderred for pizza.

Then we orderred for some fresh fruit juice to quench our thirst.

 Oh yeah, if you’re a vege lover, you may order for salad, stir fried veges, stir fried mushroom or potatoes. Look at the amount of mushrooms, eat till you won’t want to eat again till next century.

Time to enjoy my food~ The Grill chicken with Black pepper sauce. There’s also actually onion sauce but I didn’t choose that as I’m not a big fan of it.

Then the pizza. *yum yum* We orderred Hawaiian pizza.

We were a little 2 greedy, orderred 2 plates of Rostti, one with cheese, and another without and also with Chicken Cheese Sausage. Potatoes are a real filling food and we really regretted it!!!  There’s no more room for any dessert nor mushroom soups. If you plan to eat more variety of food, make sure you order only 1 plate of it, else u’ll end up like us. We were so full that we weren’t really enjoy it after so.

Since I dun get to order it, let me show you some of the desserts.

There are also bottled drinks such as root beer, ribena and mineral water. If you prefer coffee, they have it as well.

Our coupons. Hm..let me see, we orderred 1, 2, 3, … 10 dishes including drinks. I was quite surprise that it wasn’t as expensive as I expected. The food overalls is fine but what I enjoyed the most the is environment. It’s really a great idea.

We were done eating and heads towards the cinema. We are lucky that we didn’t even need to queue more than 10 minutes to get our movie tickets before that, we kinda jump queue by “tapping” and tipping those who are already in queue to help us buy. We paid them extra RM10.00 but it’s really worth it, else we’ll need to queue about more than half an hour and maybe by the time it’s our turn, the movie we’ve chosen doesn’t have any nice seats left.

By the way, we watch The Curious Case of BENJAMIN BUTTON. Click herefor more information from Wikipedia.You should really watch this show as this is like no other ordinary movie, it’s a 3 hour movie with a interesting story line. It’s about a boy who was born in an unusual circumstances, he was born in the eightees and ages backwards. The visual effect is nice, the flow is nice, overall I find it really interesting and I never thought I would shed some tears in this movie. It’s no wonder why this movie have 10 Academy Awards Nominations. It’s undescribable and you should really watch it on your own.
