It’s not like yesterday was my birthday, it’s weeks ago actually.

We met up earlier for dinner at Moe De Cafe, Sunway Giza.

Nothing to shout about at that place, seriously, the food is bad (my own opinion), with really slow service.

Ordered for a thick toast would take them half an hour to prepare. Probably they went to Giant nearby to get the condensed milk and peanut butter.

The only food/drink which I think is nice is the Yam milkshake. This is how u should drink it.

Once we finished our dinner we head to Movida for partaayyyyyy~

Ordered for some hard liquor with Ribena and beers, that’s basically what everyone orders in pubs/clubs anyway.

I’m not sure what kinda culture we practice here but for each person’s birthday, a Flaming Lamborghini is a MUST! My friend says that it’s a replacement of a birthday cake. Geez….. I’m good at eating desserts, never at drinking!

So, I tried to gulp down as much as I could. It’s my first time drinking this so it tasted much better than I thought. In fact, it taste pretty good with some heat going down my throat.

10 minutes passed after drinking. I have to eat the ice non-stop, else I’m dizzy. Then, I drank some fluid for hangerover, and then take a piece of lemon.

Another 10 minutes passed, my stomach is so gassy and it’s starting to hurt. I ended up at the car park…. I guess you know what happens next. Initially, I thought of just having a 45 mins nap. But the next time when I opened my eyes, everyone seems to be entering the car heading out to yum char.

I’m glad that they had fun partying even while I was away. I wonder how many guys “killed” by the signals send out by this sexy.

I was so sober when I was having my supper that some friends who came later were surprised that why was I not drunk.

So, this is how I celebrated my day for being another year older. I feel totally emo for getting older. Why do people even celebrate for getting older? =\

So, it was Daniel’s 52nd XXth birthday yesterday and he invited us to Euro Deli at Damansara Kim for the BIGGEST, BADDEST BURGER IN MALAYSIA – THE MATTERHORN.

We were so eager to sink our teeth into this huge burger like the vampires can’t resist the temptation of blood to sink their teeth to the neck of an innocent human being.

Okay, we almost chew the paper model of it.

The complimentary bun given is really nice. Soft and warm, looks like it’s fresh from the oven. It still taste really good even without the butter.

The guys ordered for 2 cup of 1-pint Hoegaarden.

I sticked to warm water anyway.

We ordered for a bowl of Mushroom Soup, RM12.90. Nothing to shout about, it’s a lil too diluted. I would prefer those Wild Mushroom Soup with chunks of wild mushrooms in it.

The Rostti Potatoes-Bacon(RM15.90) is totally awesome. I din say that just becoz I love potatoes(okay, probably coz it’s potatoes), the chunks of bacon and potatoes blend really well, very tasty. Let me explain how tasty is it… It’s tasty till that i din really mind the onions in it(FYI. I DUN EAT ONIONS. The usual me would’ve take all the onions out from the food). I think Hui Wen and I ate the most of it.

Next is the Roast Pork Knuckle (RM29.90) which I think it’s pretty good as well, especially the skin, it’s really crispy.

If we were to eat only pork burger will be too stuffed for us, so, on the healthy side, we ordered for a Large Miaxed Salad Plate, RM15.90. Our plan was supposed to be eating a few mouth of burger, then eat the mixed salads, then continue with the burger again. But even before the burger arrived, we’ve almost finished the plate of mixed salad.

Finally, the moment has arrived! THE MATTERHORN IS HERE! I feel really full and stuffed just by looking at the burger itself, it’s so big that it looks kinda scary, this monster is a nightmare for me. But it could be another carnivore’s long awaited dream.

The burger measures 22.9cm X 15.2cm(9″X6″) and consisted of 11 slices of Swiss cheese together with generous slices of tomatoes, gherkins, bacon, lettuce and a 2.75kg of pork patty topped with special burger sauce tucked in a homemade bun. The patty itself is also bigger than my brain.

Since we did not buy any cake for Daniel, The Matterhorn shall be his birthday cake. This will definitely his most unforgettable birthday ever. Who would use a huge burger as a cake?!

Let me tell you one of the benefits of The Matterhorn. By holding The Matterhorn beside our face, we could compare who have the biggest face too.

The price of The Matterhorn is RM88++, I’m not too sure what’s the exact price but ours was priced at RM112. Despite such a huge patty(Imagine, 2.75kg of patty?!!!), I’m surprise that the texture and the taste is still good.

If you’re adventurous enough, take on The Matterhorn challenge at any of the branches of Euro Deli.

As spoken to the staff there, so far there’s only ONE person who is a mat salleh(foreigner) managed to finish the burger at the challenge time, timed at 43 minutes. Too bad that he didn’t take up the main challenge(Prize worth of RM888) which so happens to fall on the next day he ate the burger  as he couldn’t register for the challenge on time. I can’t imagine if he finished this burger and take up the challenge the next day again. That would be a disaster, totally meat overloaded.

I dun think I would want to eat burger for the next 1 month. Not becoz the burger isn’t nice, it’s becoz I had too much of it already.

Past one week I was pretty tied up and didn’t have the chance to update any post. So, here’s some part of what happened last week.

My birthday falls on 15th September which was unfortunately, Tuesday. I hate working on birthdays of coz but there’s nothing to do if I were to take leave anyway as Mr. Bf have got something important to attend on that day as well. So, we decided to clebrate it earlier on Sunday. I’ve always wanted to try the lunch set at Korean House Restaurant @ SS2, so there we are finally!

It’s so yummy, really! I ordered for the pork set, and it comes with like super duper a lot dishes, with vege soup and pumpkin soup dessert too which I can’t fnish.

Then we headed to cinema to watch Final Destination 4 which I find it a crap movie. It’s just so predictable and the graphic sux! I still prefer the first episode though where all the ideas are so fresh and how the people die grusomely looks so real. Btw, I watched it in normal cinema not the 3D, Yann tried the 3D and she said it’s nice coz it looks like happen right infront of you. So, maybe you should try watching it in 3D cinema to get that kinda chill down your spine. Did I mention that the movie is only 1.5 hours short?!

But anyway, we started off the day late. By the time the movie ends, it was getting late and we rushed to Kitty’s place for dinner. He cooked a nice home cook meal for me as a birthday gift.

Nice right? Oh yeah, Kitty is a guy, not a gal. He’s bf of Nicole. His name is actually Kit Siang but we started off calling him Kitty since high school.

Then here comes my lovely birthday cake which don’t look like a birthday cake – Chocolate brownie with banana filling ordered from Ko Wai, the lengchai Patissier.

At first kitty brought me a plastic knife, you know the kind that u use it to cut mooncake. Sweat… so darn small knife, looks weird n hard to cut for a brownie. Then he went back to kitchen, and came out with 2 big knives. One of it is the type you use it to cut your fruits, another is the type you used to to chop raw chicken meat, pork or watever it is. That’s when we got the idea to cut the burfday cake.

My burfday wishes is of coz nonetheless to have another 1000 wishes. LOL. Of coz not, I’m not sucha greedy person. Burfday wish is something personal, and people said it shouldn’t be told or reveal else it won’t come true.

Cute right? I think they gonna start practicing and challenge me on the poor doggy expression the next gathering already. I started taking with this kinda expression about 5 years back. Now with my puppies at home, I think I’m pro with that adi. How could I not be good facing this look everyday?

That was all for Sunday and let’s run a quick one through Tuesday which is the real day. Took lunch with muh colleague and boss at Secret Recipe @ Pusat Bandar Damansara. Carryse wanted to help us both birthday babies to do a small birthday celebration during lunch. Oh yeah, Justin is born on 15th September too but 2 years senior than me.

We ordered 3 pieces of cake – 1 Chocolate Indulgence, and 2 Durian Cheesecake.

Okay, I think most of you should have already tried Chocolate Indulgence before so I dun need elaborate further on that. But OMG… The durian cheesecake is so darn good, I really gotta agree that the durian and cheese taste really goes well together though I’m not a big fan of cheese.

Then dinner was with my family at Pantai Seafood at Kayu Ara. It didn’t taste as good as last time anymore…

I thought my photo taking skill is bad enough, not till I saw what my sis took. You compare the picture I took and the one she took.

Anyway, thanks to my dear sis, she got me something I really need for my burthday present, dog grooming set.

I can now groom my doggies by myself without using my whole day. If I were to send out for full grooming in the future, one dog cost mr RM80. So RM80 x 3 = RM 240. Byt sending 3 doggies for full grooming twice I can already get myself this grooming set. I can now save $$$ to get some other stuff for them. Their expenses are starting to kill me now.

As you grow older, do you find it harder to get pressies for your friend’s birthday? I do! Everyone has grown up now and have started working and they seems to have everything and afford anything. So does my friends(not in the pic). They got me something that I dun have, and I guess not many people has.

Birthday aka Burfday – The day which a person is welcomed on the earth with never ending life experience to gain from birth -> baby -> kid -> teenage -> post-teenage -> adulthood -> old. It’s also the day which we celebrate yearly (except those born on 29th Feb), a day we celebrate that we are one year wiser, a day we celebrate to a new year of our life.

I love attending burfday parties, it’s not just because of the food, it’s because you get to get together with your friends, for some which you may have not seen for months, years, ages… It’s a good time to catch up.

My bestie’s birthday party was planned kinda last minute, it’s scheduled at 6pm @ her house for a BBQ party. Needless to say, Malaysian time is actually GMT+8, but when it comes to birthday parties and wedding dinners, it’ll automatically changed to GMT+10, or perhaps GMT+11. It’s always delayed from what have been scheduled.

Kit Siang, Nicole and me was the earliest to reach, which was at 7pm. Since there was no one around yet, we kinda cam-whore a little.

Yen’s bf – Wei Feng is also the chef of the night. He spent his entire night grilling the food for us. Because there was too many of us, once we know that the food is ready, we’ll take our plates and run towards him to grab a few pieces before the next grilled food is ready. We wanted the food to have more burnt, you know, taste nicer. TQVM Wei Feng for the grilling effort. =)

If you observed well enough, you may have seen the food or him before. It’s because he owns a stall called Grill-zilla at Kota Damansara. Have you visited there yet?

Together with Kok Wai – the lengchai pastry chef (Edison Chen lookalike, dun misunderstood, no sex scandals involved)with VERY EXTREMELY SMALL appetite and kit siang.

I managed to persuade force him to eat more than what he wanted to eat. I felt so proud *applause applause* But I wonder, if he went back and do more cardios after the party. Kok Wai, you’re a dead meat the next time you come out makan with us. I’ll find ways to force you to eat more, I just couldn’t stand the fact that you as a guy eat lesser than me. You bake nice pastry but still stay so slim and fit. I wonder does you even eat your own pastry you bake? =p

The burfday cake made by Kok Wai. It’s a cheesecake with apriocots and mango jelly in the middle and decorated with sweet strawberries and sunflower on top. Oh boy, it was beautifully done but due to unforseen circumstances happened and he had to remove it.
