I saw lotsa incredibly beautiful one sold at Sukawati and Tanah Lot, it’s just really amazing! I can never imagine myself painted it this nice! You know what’s the best thing of it? They always start of the price which we will never agree on buying and we can bargain till like 30-50% discounts! I was just wondering, how does one standout from the rest when all of them are that good and at the same place? Nevermind, as a buyer/tourist, we benefit from it though.

I specifically like these paintings due to the touch and feel of the texture of the paints. But I didn’t buy any of these.

I bought 2 paintings of another place which I’ve forgotten the name at about RM15 only.

Time flies and 3D2N at Bali was over. On the 3rd day morning, we managed to enjoy the wave of sea for a few hours at Kuta beach itself before packing up and Board the plane back to our home country. The few hours at Kuta beach is one of the most fun time in Bali. The waves are really strong that you could fall and roll at the beach. No kidding! I got quite a few blue-blacks from that!

My sandals string snapped when I was the airport, and I was forced to buy a pair of sandals at a very last minute. Thank god I found one which I find it ok looking and at a reasonable price. The price was actually about RM35 but I was out of cash. But believe it or not, I managed to bargain for the sandals for only RM30. Guess what? I’m loving the sandals now! It’s very comfortable.

We were very hungry and took a meal at the airport and almost didn’t manage to board the plane. We thought that the entrance to board our plane was nearby but it was like miles away(okay, I’m totally exaggerating this), we ended up running with our stomache full in the airport itself. It’s kinda funny when thought of it now.

I was supposed to attend my friends wedding that night and I had to put on my makeup in the flight.

But due to unforeseen circumstances, I only reached home at about 9.20pm. I think the dinner also gonna end soon, so, didn’t attend the dinner in the end after putting on my make-ups. =.=”" So, I ended up cam-whore in my room. ^.^

Wow..you know what? I’ve finally finish with my Bali trip! Should I continue back with my Perth trip?

“The establishment of Pura Taman Ayun is related to the development of Mengwi kingdom in 17th century. A manuscript describing the birth of Mengwi kingdom called ” Babad Mengwi ” gives a description that the founder of the kingdom I Gusti Ngurah Putu after succeeded in extending his emporium he built Ulun Danu temple on the bank of lake Beratan, than moved his palace from Balahayu to Mengwi and built Taman Ayun temple. The date of construction is expressed on a carved door with chronogram reads ” Sad Bhuta Yaksa Dewa ” means 1634 AD.” – Info taken from BaliTouring.

The temple is surrounded by moat and I spotted some people fishing there.

ATTENTION ladies, please take note that if you are having the time of month, please respect and do not enter the temple. There is a board stating that clearly.

Another note, it is advised to dress appropriately before entering. But er…… I guess I kinda break that “rule”.

The entrance fees to Pura Taman Ayun is Rp3000 (RM1.07). Very cheap hor?

There is this very big hall which you will see. One of the staff explaining to tourist on the use of this great hall for occasions.

Upon entering, you will see a huge garden with a fountain by the side.

There is a Bell Tower (Kulkul) by the side where tourists can walk up to have a better view. This is also where the ceremonial drum used for summoning worshippers or to raise an alarm during crises is kept.

Walk in further and you see the Candi Bentar which means split gate of Pura Taman Ayun.

Further down is the inner courtyard, covered by a gate which is Candi Korung (Covered gate). Accoridng to the staff there, the gate only opens every 50 years and there will be a big ceremony held.

But fret not, you will get to see what’s behind the gates though you can’t enter from the main gate. There is this path way by the side and you still get to see the building structure and shines there.

There is also a small gate at the side of the path way, but it’s lock too. I guess no one really can enter there. =\ Though they say no one can enter, I spotted a cat lying lazily under the shed there. Hmm..there’s an exception for animals?

The total number of shrines and pavilions in Pura Taman Ayun are 50 units. This shrines are not all dedicated to god or holy spirits but some are as ritual facilities, public hall, and decorations. In the inner courtyard comprises of 27 buildings of varying size and function.

Rows of merus with ijuk black thatched roofing provides resting place for visiting spirits at Pura Taman Ayun.

Among them are the gods who dwell on Gunung Agung and Gunung Batur. An eleven-tiered meru (at the far end, in the right-hand corner) is dedicated to the rice goddess Dewi Sri.

There are many different tier of merus.

There are also many different design and sizes of shrines.

I find this shrine quite unique looking as if it has an anthenna built with it.

If not mistaken, this is where they have some prayers too.

I’m not sure why out of nowhere, there is this very skinny tall tree planted in the inner courtyard. Anyone knows?

According to the staff, if you feel disturbed, you can peel of a layer of the skin of this tree trunk and eat it. However, you must give an orffering before doing so. Otherwise… go think of the consequences yourself. Nothing comes free in life, you get it?

On the way there, there are some ongoing proyek, and we were forced to walk by the small roads to Warung Bali Guling Ibu Kota.

You’ll be very much surprised at the crowd there, it’s packed! As I can see, most of them are tourists, we were pretty lucky as we got a table after waiting just for awhile.

We were really in luck, once we sat on the table, there was a fresh Babi Guling which was just roasted and sent to the warung. Okay, dun stare at the whole Babi Guling for too long, you will feel disgusted, really. The expression of the pig is like it was grusomely murdered.

The workers, I’m not sure if she’s Ibu Oka, uses a big knife and beheaded the pig expressionless and emotionless, these are really by years of experience I believe. I dun think I could even chop off a chicken’s neck. Then, she uses the knife to pick up the head of the pig and poses for the camera.

The pig have been roasted till crispy golden brown colour. My god, look at that tail, the more I look at it the more I feel disgusted with it.

After the head been chopped off, you can see the spices inside of the stomach area.

The pork will then be chopped and to be served to customers.

We were waiting patiently for our plate of Babi Guling. Can’t wait to taste how nice it is.

The prices of a plate of Babi Guling are roughly about Rp25,000 ~ Rp30,000(RM8.90~RM10.54) depending on what you order. The once I ordered is served with a piece of the roasted pork skin, some very tender pork meat, fried pork fats, and some vegetables with the spices of Babi Guling on top of it.

The portion here looks small cause I shared a plate with Mei Yin and I just took half the portion of it. I couldn’t finish a plate not only because I have taken some food at Sukawati earlier, but also because of staring at the whole pork earlier for too long. I tried not to think too much, chucked everything into my mouth, chewed it fast and swallowed it.

In my opinion, the Babi Guling is totally overrated. From what everyone have said how famous and nice it is, I think it’s just so-so only, the skin was not even cripy, it’s quite chewy(Not sure was it just that pork, my piece of pork skin or was it actually meant to be like that). On our first bite, we have already thought of the Char Siew Siu Yoke Fan at Hock Lee, Damansara Heights. But anyway, since it’s so famous, just go and try it, at least make it like once in a lifetime experience.

 There are quite a few dogs around the warung. I guess it’s because it has good business there (as in many tourists feed them)

I also bought a bottle of Passion fruit flavoured drinks by Mizone from the store beside Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka, you should try this. It’s quite nice and refreshing.

Our initial plan was also to try Bebek Bengil at Dirty Duck Diner, unfortunately we were so stuffed that we decided to put a stop. I kinda regret of not trying Bebek Bengil, I heard it’s really nice, much nicer than Babi Guling and it’s really crispy.

On the way back to our car, I spotted this creative looking van. It’s a van with bus entrance styled entrance, I repeat, it’s a van. It’s quite a common design over at Ubud as I saw quite a few van vehicle with the same entrance.

Did they design this by accident? As in accidental design discovery?

On the second day at Bali (24th July 2009), it’s time for jalan-jalan at Bali after taking our complimentary breakfast from the hotel. I’ll skip exactly where we’ve gone after that, not so important afterall, I’ll get to that after all the important points.

So, we went to Sukawati where it is famous for incredibly cheap stuff. I think I can spend my entire day there, not only because there are like zillion things to see, but oh-my-gosh, the people kinda “haunt” you there.

Once you step your foot at the urh..I consider it a marketplace, you will see a group of people storming to you like groups of fans seeing their favourite artist. Remember, you are not an artist there, but more like a choi-san-yeh(money god). All of them carrying their stuff on their hand and on top of their head persuading you to buy stuff from them, I find it quite a haunting experience. They will follow you wherever you go although you have tell them you are not interested.

Okay, one of the lady managed to persuade me to buy a white knitted hat. Not exactly that she persuaded me, but I find the hat quite nice and incredibly cheap! If I recall correctly, the open price she gave me was like Rp40,000 (RM14), Mr. BF managed bargain to only Rp20,000 (RM7). Wow, that’s like half the price! I bet if I get the hat in Malaysia, it gonna cost me about RM20.00 at least. By the way, behind me is a stall which sells their local fruit called Salak.

After buying this hat, another lady approached me and Carryse for a hat. I was like hey! I have already bought a hat. Guess what she told me? She told me to get another hat. My gosh, why would I need two same hat?

Carryse is even better at bargaining, she got the same hat at only Rp14000 (RM5). I really have no idea how do they earn money there.

You can see lotsa nice and great paintings there, I mean those people are like so talented! Too bad they are all cramp up there. I’m not exactly a person who is into painting but after seeing theirs, I just gotto get myself one.

Besides paintings, you can see them crafting some designs out.

We then took a light lunch over there too. My friends are like so crazy over the Bakso(beef ball) there, most of them ate two bowls. It cost only Rp5000 (RM1.80)/bowl. But I find it quite small bowl.

See the difference of size of the beef balls? The HUGE one a little different, there is a whole hard-boiled egg inside of it. I don’t eat beef, so don’t ask me how nice it is. I only tested the noodle and a little of the soup, but I could tell, it’s tasty!

Nah, of coz he is not smoking, it’s just some camera angle. But his is one lucky dog at Sukawati. Hm..I should say dogs around me while I’m eating are all lucky dogs coz I can never resist the pitiful puppy-eyed looks of them. Mr. BF ordered two bowls of Mie Bakso too, but 3/4 of the Bakso is fed to him, I only wanted to eat the noodles and Mr.Bf only wanted to try a little bit of Bakso. Byt the way, I call him Blackie ( I just thought of a name for him, Urh… I think it’s a him lah okay?)

I also tried their Indonesian Rojak which they call it Ketoprak. It is quite similiar to Malaysia Rojak, it has veges and tofu, but they added nasi impit and the keropok used is different. It cost Rp5000 (RM1.80). But nothing to shout about, I’d still prefer the Rojak at the roadside of Taman Tun.

Oh yeah, not to forget, you can Pie Susu at one of the shops at Sukawati at only Rp1000 (RM0.35). It’s similiar to egg tarts, but it’s condensed milk instead of eggs, and it is really thin.

I’m a fan of condensed milk, so I kinda like it, but I would think it will be much nicer if it is thicker. It’s worth trying, really. Where can you get a tart at only RM0.35?!

I think I wanna start Google searching for Pie Susu recipe already!

It was kinda rush on our departure from Brilly’s place to the airport though.

We were hoping to be on time to board our plane! There were 6 of us, but 3 of us(Carryse, me and Mr.BF) have to board an earlier plane which is 1 1/2 hours than the rest. There was such a long queue at the airport, they opened all lanes for flying into Indonesia, not for Bali ONLY. Oh Gosh..luckily managed to check in my luggage.

Fast forward, we’re already on AirAsia flying off!

We didn’t have our breakfast earlier so we ordered in the flight itself. Surprisingly, I gotta say and agree on this, the food was kinda nice.

I ordered for Nasi Lemak @ RM15.

Mr. BF ordered for Fried Rice with Satay @ RM15. It taste like tomato.

You can start seeing Bahasa Indonesia in the flight like these. Seriously, I got not much of idea what does this mean. I guess it mean “Card credit AirAsia HSBC now fly more ohm!” ? Just my wild guess…

We also have some forms to fill in including health declaration form. You know, these are pretty important info just incase any of us are tested with H1N1 positive.

But seriously, no one (okay, just a few) is wearing mask that it made me felt so safe by not wearing it too. But you know, I like to cam-whore, so I saja wear the mask awhile and took this photo.

After 3 hours of flight we’ve finally arrived at our destination, Denpasar Airport, Bali, Indonesia. We have to sit the shuttle bus from the plane area to the terminal itself.

Here, we can start to see the Balinese building structure.

Of coz, we’ll have to go through immigration part first. But 3 of us was so blur that we have queued at the wrong lane. We only got to know when it finally reaches our turn. So, there was this one officer that attended to us and bring us to the correct lane. He asked if we we want to queue up or not. Of coz not! We’ve queued up for quite long at the earlier lane and we need to queue again?! When we reaches the correct place to queue, we heard him asking for some tips, like IDR20,000 (RM7.10) or IDR 30,000(RM10.65). Sorry man, we’re kiam-siap people and btw why should we pay? If we have knew that earlier on we would have queued up. So, we walk off once we got our passport chopped.

Then, we proceed to check-out from the airport. On the way, you will see one stretch of counters which will totally catch your attention and slow down. Wow, there are whole stretch of money changers counters which persuading you non-stop to change your currency with them. When I say whole stretch, I do mean WHOLE STRETCH, like 10~15 counters with no other stuff sold there, ONLY money changer. Interesting, dun they have any other location to open a money changer counter? Why all at the same place?

Once walk out of the airport, you can see many of the hotel staff or friends or family standing there waiting. I guess most of them are hotel staff as you can see them holding the card with the person’s name. Ceh… How come dun have my name? I have always wanted to see that as if I have fans there waiting for me. Geez, I’m day-dreaming.

I also noticed that they are kinda organized in terms of their luggage, you see…they arranged it nicely. I saw this kinda arrangement inside the airport itself on the baggage claiming area. The staff will help to unload the baggage from the moving belt and arrange it nicely in lines.

Also, there’s no chairs/bench outside of the airport on the waiting area. I saw people sitting on those metal thingie (dunno what is it called). I wonder if it’s a bench… coz most people sit either on that, or just on the floor.

We took some pictures at Denpasar airport itself with the Balinese building structure. You know, as a tourist, you must always take lotsa pictures, else you dun really look like a tourist.

Remember that I mentioned our flight are 1 1/2 hours earlier than the rest of them? We found a place to relax while waiting for them.

We ordered Iced Cendol @ IDR12,000 (RM4.26) . The green part of the cendol looks kinda different… It’s like translucent green, it looks like jelly instead. The taste was so-so only.

Another drink which we ordered is Iced Campur @ IDR12,500 (RM4.44), I guess it’s suppose to be like our ABC. It taste kinda different from our ABC though. It’s sweet, but different kinda sweet. Oh gosh, I’m just bad at explaining. Go try it yourself next time k?

You want some Sup Buntut? It cost IDR 35,000 (RM12.43) . Not not some Butt or Ass Soup, it’s Oxtail soup la.

You see, white rice also cost IDR5.5k there. Eat one white rice also need few K? Life’s not easy.  Aiyah, we should look at the price after conversion. WHAT THE HACK? Now I realize it’s really expensive. RM1.95 for one bowl or steamed white rice?!

Btw, I’ve forgotten to capture the shop name. It was kinda hard to read so I din bother to take note of the name.

After some time of chit-chatting, the others have finally arrived which means it’s time to check-in to hotel! We have our driver which is from the hotel itself. I know…this pic is ugly… Haha!

On the way, you’d probably notice something which is kinda obvious. There are lotsa people riding on motor bikes and another thing which is very obvious are the roads! The roads are just too cramp! Such small lane. I wonder how can they drive, they’re so skillful! I guess they’re trained ever since they got their license. Seriously, if you give me a car to drive over there, I’m pretty sure I’ll get lotsa scratches on my car. Dun laugh, not only me, you will too. You’ll know how tough is it to drive when you get there.

No kidding, look at this.

Looks like one-way road right? It’s actually two-way road. Be surprised! We basically travel through those small lorong(lane), yes, small lorong are like a normal road to them, it’s those small lorong that you’ll avoid driving in Malaysia. After about 20 minutes of car ride we’ve finally reach our hotel – MASTAPA Garden Hotel.

I was so eager and excited to see how our hotel looks like. The hotel is only RM100/night per room. Cheap hor?  Their garden looks pretty nice and comfy with lotsa green, small man-made river, parrots and birds.

Not to forget a big fat wild rabbit which jumps around at the garden.

When I opened the hotel room door, my excitements suddenly all gone with the wind in short seconds and started to feel eerie when stepped into the room. It’s not that the hotel is dirty, it’s just the stuff there are pretty worn out but still usable. It wasn’t good and impressive so I didn’t bother to take photo of my room. But took 1 at the balcony, see the view from my room. So “nice” hor? Can see those houses rooftop.

I should stop whining, after all, it’s just RM100/night per room INCLUDING breakfast. LOL. CHEAP right? It’s actually alright if you plan to spend most of your time out of hotel and just back for taking some rest before the next day’s journey begun. There’s pros and cons bout no star hotels. Cons is that you dun have nice bed to sleep, pros is that the risk of getting bomb is kinda low.

My colleague was even jokingly saying that perhaps those bomber are staying in those cheap no-star hotel as us. Who would want to bomb a place which only occupied by so few people compared to those 5/6 stars hotel? It kinda make sense though…

By the way, if you do not know yet, I always create a checklist for packing before each travel.

- Umbrella (in-case rain)
- 3 sun-blocks (1 waterproof for face, 1 normal type for face, 1 waterproof type for body)
- Purple Bag ( This is like a doraemon pocket which me and Mr. BF couldn’t live without while travelling)

By the way, there was some prediction by a software engineer months back about Earthquake will happen on 22nd July and causes a Tsunami which will hit Bali. I guess it’s safe to go since I receive no news of earthquake in Japan yet as of this moment. Perhaps, I should be more worried about possibility of bombing or H1N1 rather than Tsunami.

Ok, I’m starting to feel my eyes hurt now, time to rest now. Oh, Bali, here I come in a few hours time! Ciaoz guys.

That’s all I could recall of.

So, Day 3 was the day that we were suppose to rent for a car for the road trip. But before that, we followed/accompany Alvin to car workshop to checkout what’s wrong with his car and the pricing. But that was pretty fast.

Then, Alywin needs to split up as he have some personal things to do that moment so we (me and Mr.BF) followed Alvin instead to look for a car. So, we headed to Bayswater Car Rental at Fremantle looking for a Corolla Sedan (we call it Altis here). Unfortunately, it was all rented out. We then asked if they could help to check if there is Corolla Sedan at Perth city or Subiaco and guess what?! They call us to call to the place by ourselves. OMG… I din expect this kinda service. I was expecting them to offer the help to call to other branch instead.

So, we called to Subiaco branch and there’s 1 last Corolla Sedan left and we drove there ASAP. But, more bad news to come. We couldn’t fulfill the requirements. VERY CONFUSING. They have different rates for the age group of below 25 and 25 and above. So, we tried registering using Mr.BF’s name. But we will need a credit card which both of us doesn’t have (we dun believe in using credit cards, we believe in CA$H), so we tried using a ATM card which also function as a debit card instead but will need to pay more deposits. But the stupid darn ~@#$%^&()-=_)(*&^%$#@!~ debit card payment just couldn’t get through the payments no matter how small the amount is. There is definitely something wrong with it, it’s giving a few different errors. We were so desperate and called back to our local bank helpdesk which didn’t provide much of help and say there is no problem with the card. WTH?! I was so prepared to lodge a complain for that cause actually I’ve tried booking air flight tickets last time using it but can’t get through the payment also.

By then, there were another couple waiting for the same darn car! We were getting more desperate and try seeking help from Alvin, unfortunately, he couldn’t meet the requirements as well. We can pay all the CASH they want for the car rental but we can’t coz they need a valid credit card or a debit card with a valid license. Now we know that MONEY CAN’T BUY EVERYTHING!!! So, we contacted Alywin to rush to Subiaco ASAP as the couple is still waiting for us and the shop is closing soon. Oh yeah.. did I mention there were 2 assistant there, assistant A was quite arrogant and rude(not the customer servioce which I’ve expected), assistant B was polite and nice. Thank god assistant B was the person assisting us and was kind enough to allow us to drag more time.

Alvin got some urgent things need to attend and we feel paiseh too dragging him into this for hours and ask him to leave first and we’ll handle from there. So, we tried to settle it but unfortunately we had to let go the car in the end and leave the place as they’re closing already. And this is the darn car that we’ve been trying to get whole day!!!

Nothing to do, the 2 of us wander around the street like puppies got lost of their ways in the city road. Our stomach started to growl and we stopped by V|C for food.

You know ladies washroom have those vending machines which you can get a sanitary pad for RM0.60 . There you can get chewable toothbrush which I bought 1 too but haven’t test it until now.

The men’s washroom lagi shiock. They have the vending machine for condom and stimulator which states that it’s the real thing and not a gimmick. Is there any fake ones?

Hm… If any guy was there to get a gal for a last minute one night stand, he can get the necessities(incredibly cheap too) and head directly to hotel, dun need to stop by any convenience shop also. So convenient…

Glanced through the menu and saw Smoked Salmon Pizza, it sounds nice and we ordered for that.

And this is what we ordered – Smoked Salmon Pizza.

WTH!@!@#@$@$ It totally looks different from the pizza which we always eat. This is so…er…so HEALTHY? Basically, it looks like a few pieces of smoked salmon with some sour cream or whipped cream with some chopped tomatoes on top of a round medium size pita bread coverred with some un-cooked fresh leaves sprinkle with a little bit of pepper, it doesn’t look ant bit like the typical pizza I’ve always eat elsewhere. That’s the healthiest pizza I ever tasted. Wait a second, should I even call it pizza? There’s no CHEESE at all !!!!!

Seriously, I felt so gloomy and so wanna cry at that time. Then, Alywin came to us by cab and we’re suppose to leave together, but that smart cab left without waiting and I can’t remember why Alywin left after that( I think my food just arrive haven’t finish yet). So, left us again like 2 wandering puppies at the street. By then, most of the places are closed and we just continued to walk after the food.

Then we saw this statement on one of the shop’s door written with what time would the “doctor” be in.

The doctor is not our doctor which we would visit when we’re sick. It’s a doctor that we would like to visit if we have a bad hair day.

So, we passed by a hospital and there was this huge park opposite of it. We went for a stroll and thought could ask some passerby/joggers/patients if there’s any nice food around the corner. So, we asked a family and the conversation goes like this:

Mr.BFM : Hi mate, we’re a tourist here and do you know if there’s any nice food or cafe nearby which is walking distance?
Father of the patient : Er… you can try the hospital. There’s cafeteria there.

Mr.BF turned and look at me, I looked at him eyes wide open and almost jaw on floor… What a suggestion? Dun he have a better place to suggest than a hospital?!

Father of the patient continue : I’m not local too, I’m just here cause my son is checked into this hospital.

So, that explains all? I dun think I would ever suggest anyone specially tourist to eat at the hospital… I dun think it will ever cross my mind.

Forget bout the food, we took a deep breath and sat at the bench trying to enjoy the air, the smell, the wind, the green, the scenery. We randomly took some photos.

See…there’s a bird at the park.

Then, it is joined by another bird, a crow at the park.

But this is a good moment for me cool down myself and think of what I’ve missed out in life like what do I want in my life… Then I spotted a few dogs running and playing fetch at the park, that’s when despair momentarily vanished, and wonder took its place. You know how much I love dogs right?

The first dog’s tail is black whereas the body fur colour is brown. Dun you think the tail looks fake like it was glued to his body?

Ahhh… I missed my Suki the Soukei Terrier so much. Wonder how was she at the moment. Was she angry at me that I’m away from her? Does she miss me?

I’ve always keep this favorite photo of her in my mobile phone as if she follows me whenever I go. I’ll always see this photo whenever I’m in the car waiting, in the office, anytime, anywhere, even when poo in toilet. Oppps….too much detail here.

Then, we continued our walking journey till we reached a Stadium. I do not know what’s the name of this stadium but it says Home of Football.

And that was bout the time for sunset. The scenery looks really nice.

Bout that time, Alvin came to the rescue, then he brought us yao cheh hor around The Univeristy Club of Western Australia to see their nice building design. Wow… University building also look so nice, go to class also more semangat.

Alvin offerred us to have dinner together at his place, but Lorraine and him only have the dishes enough for 2 portion so we went and tah pao some dishes.Then we rushed back to his place soonest possible and they prepare a nice home cooked food. It has certainly brightened up my day. Thanks Alvin and Lorraine for the delicious dinner. Hope to meet you guys soon again. =)

But we went for some lunchie first at Village Cafe nearby the wildlife park, coz we’ll be spending most of the day at the wildlife park.

By the way, entrance of Caversham Wildlife Park is AUD$22.00 for backpackers like me. Of coz, they have student price as well, checkout the price list here. They open daily from 8.30am – 5.30pm (Except Christmas Day). But be there early, the last entry is at 4.30pm.

This is not your typical Sugar Glider you rare it at home. It’s Squirrel Glider, much bigger than a Sugar Glider. But they looks alike to me, I wonder if it’s the same creature.

Welcome to the open enclosure of the kangaroo park. This is the most exciting part.

Here, we get up close and in touch with joeys, kangaroos and wallaby. You get to touch their soft fur on their body, and rub their head like how u rub your dog’s head. Dun worry, they’re pretty stone actually, they sleep and stone there most of the time. Not like what I’ve imagined like kicking ass around.

Weeweeeet~ Sexy bikini gal with kangaroo in wildlife park. Dun ever think of dressing like this to Zoo Negara, you’ll know why once you’ve try it.

I wonder if this is a pregnant kangaroo or a newly born joey hiding in its pouch.

With a troop of stoned kangaroos. They basically lie on the same position, I dun really see them moving much.

This kangaroo looks pretty old already.

A kangaroo’s foot and tail. If you observe well enough, kangaroo got 5 fingers/nails on it’s hand and only 1 nail/toe on it’s foot. Weird… how did it balance itself and have such powerful legs?

I’ve got to stop at a side as I was totally dehydrated. I was feeling nausea at the point of time. Alwin, Debbie and Christine continued with the walks and Mr. BF accompanied me. Gosh.. I’m the only one dehydrated, so embarassing. Did I just talked too much or was over excited? I blame it on the lunch I had earlier coz I was freaking hungry and I wallop the whole big burger by myself.

After some rest, we spotted 2 cute Tazmanian Devils. I have never taught that Tazmania do exist, I’ve only see it from the cartoon produced by Warner Bros. Remember the destructive and eat almost everything Taz-mania?

Okay… It doesn’t spin like in the cartoon and it’s not that big size actually. Here I present you the Tazmanian Devil !

We were lucky coz it was feeding time, so we get to see the active and the real character of a Tazmanian Devil.

The guardian tossed 2 pieces of meat out but they’d prefer to chase and fight for the same piece of meat.

Dun let it’s cute looks fool you, you dun wanna mess with a Tazmanian Devil, it has very strong jaws, stronger than a dog’s jaw. Once he got the food on his mouth, he won’t let go. He’ll even break your bones.

As stated on Wikipedia.
“An analysis of mammalian bite force relative to the body size shows that the devil has the strongest bite of any living mammal (over 5,100 psi (35,000 kPa)). Not far away from the place of the Tazmanian Devil we spotted some emotional looking koalas. They’re not exactly emotional, they just look emotional as koalas basically dun move much and they spend most of their lives sleeping. Check out some interesting facts about Koalas here.

It seems like it’s thinking “How now?! How should I handle this?”

Look how lazy can a koala be. It doesn’t even need to hold on to the tree branch to sleep. The pose looks like it’s dead tired.

There’s this enclosure where you get to touch the koala. There are quite a few Koalas there but you are not allowed to disturb them coz they’re off duty. Basically they take turns to let visitors to touch them.

We din really see all the animals at the wildlife park as we were dead tired at that point of time and the place is closing soon too. Koala’s enclosure was the last pit stop for us. We headed to Swan Valley Chocolate Factory but unfortunately was too late for it too, they’ve just closed for visiting hours, doesn’t even allow to “tumpang” to buy chocolates.

But anyway, we gals slept in the car through the whole ride home. My Mr.BF took a candid shot of us sleeping.

After some good rest we headed to Burswood Casino at night. Took some pictures at the hostel while waiting for Debbie and Christine.

We were not allowed to take photos of the casino, so, we took some photos outside of it at the hotel lobby.

We even take photos with the bouncers. They’re huge compared to us of coz! and they are very friendly too!

While at the lobby, we saw a few bouncers pulling a person out of the entrace of the hotel, and the person was making lotsa noise too. We later chat with the banker at the casino table (yeah, we’re allowed to chit-chat with the banker at the casino tables too) and found out that the reason that the bouncers have to pull the guy is most likely that the person is drunk already. If a person is cheating, most likely they’ll bring him out quietly. That makes sense.

I played Roulettes and won some $$$ earlier but lost a little in the end. But that’s alright, just wanna enjoy and feel the difference betweek the Casino in Perth and in Genting. My conclusion, yeah, that’s lotsa difference and go try it yourself too!

I enjoyed my day specially at the wildlife park, it was unfortunate that I couldn’t finish the whole walk. So, that’s end of my Day 2 @ Perth. My Day 3 at Perth kinda sux though, stay tune to find out why it sux so much!

We travelled through time with the “Back to the future” car and drop off at the very famous, should-not-miss-visiting-place in Perth called King’s Park located at western edge of Perth, Western Australia central business district.

It’s such a wonderful place specially at night… There were many families and friends picnic at the park, or bring the portable chair just to enjoy the scenery, the trees, the grass, the air, the wind, the atmosphere there. There’s more, my friend say if you’re lucky enough, you can spot couples doing XXX there. =,=”" . Totally destroy the scenery. Coz the place is meant to be very flora(trees and grass) and it’s very disrespectful as it’s a war memorial place as well.

Anyhow, we din get to see the “acts” on that day. So, it left me with a very good impression of the place.

Let silent contemplation be your offering at the State War Memorial precinct.

 I was told that the flame of this fire never goes off, I wonder how it stays light up forever then. Around this are like stadium concrete place for people to sit surrounding this. It has been said if you whisper to the concrete wall, the other person sitting far opposite can hear you, and you guys can communicate with each other. We tried but it didn’t work though, we ended up shouting to opposite person instead of whispering. Let me know if you tried and it works, perhaps I’ll try again my next trip to Perth, hopefully.

Kings Park War Memorial

We dun mean to be rude or disrespectful, just our playfulness and curiousity of how a missing character makes such huge impact difference to a sentence.

The spectacular scenery at night at Kings Park.

Stairway to Heaven Moon. It looks like it has stairs which leads to the moon.

The reflection light on the Moon looks like a super big LED torch light shining on Perth Water or Swan River.

We were trying to zoom in to the Moon see if we’re able to see anything there. Referring to legend, maybe can see Chang-Er there.

Then we zoom in to the water to see if we’re able to see anything in there. This somehow gave me the feeling of locating a big mutated fish-like creature in the water.
 

You know, like in the movie The Host or also known as Gwoemul. So, I was actually expecting something like this.

The tree trunk is even smoother than my skin but it has “freckles”.

Told ya~ Every where limousine. If I stayed there perhaps I could own one in the future… I mean the chances of owning is much higher. Price of a Camry is only roughly RM60k. Cheap huh?

There were a bunch of pertty gals who looks like they’ve just finish attending a beauty pegeant having fun celebrating there. Of coz, they arrived in limousines, yes, 2 limousines, so it’s about 12 pretty chun chicks. Dun play play, the limousines are like super long cars.

We then headed to Alvin Toh’s place for party gathering, a friend of Alwin.
On the way, we spotted this police car/van. Dun do silly things k? Later get lock-up inside. I wonder how it feels sitting in there.

There we are, Alvin’s place is at one of the unit at first floor.

With Alvin’s lovely housemate, Lorraine, lovely name too.

I really wonder how they could live under the same roof. Coz there’s no lock on room doors, and worse still, there’s NO LOCK in toilets! Imagine if it happens that your housemate is some psycho pervert. @.@ But anyway, it’s all about trust too, right?

Took a group photo with newly met friends there. It was kinda weird, coz most people bring their friends there which the host(Elvin and Lorraine) have not met them before. So, most people doesn’t know each other there. It feels more like attending those social networking event, but it was great that everyone get along well.

After the gathering, we headed to one of the clubs at Metro City, Northbridge. I’ve forgotten the name. But totally felt like I was in one of the many clubs in Kuala Lumpur instead due to the amount of Asians there. But the DJs and dancers on stage are ‘mat salehs’.

We left the place when we were all tired and Alvin was drunk. Not far away from the club there’s a police car nearby. So, better dun drink and drive, even if you have drank and you think that you’re fully awake and sane. Else you might end up with a ticket.

Headed to “Tong-yan Kai” (Chinatown) for supper. We ate at City Garden Chinese Restaurant. It seems more like a dinner instead of supper to me. Usually supper would be light, but this is quite a heavy supper for me.

We orderred Hot Plate Tofu.

Chicken. I’ve forgotten what’s the name of this dish, it was a little sweet and sour, but it’s not called Sweet and Sour Chicken or Thai style Chicken.

People there were so nice and friendly, one of the guy sitting next to our table saw us taking photo and he offerred his kind help to take a group photo of us. How nice =)

Alvin was still drunk at that time and we managed to capture video of him crapping a lot too, his word pronounciation are mostly off that time. But, I dun think I’m sharing out that video. Maybe next time. =)

That’s my end of 1st day at Perth. It was fun, exciting but tiring day coz have been here and there the whole day. We wouldn’t want to waste time resting at home of coz.

Next up – We visit to zoo wildlife park. That’s just so awesome!

Went to this place to grab a drink. Wow…this photo somewhat turns out so nice with the cloud reflection on the glass. Looks more like a drawing or graphic edited photo. I swear to god I didn’t edit this. It’s all about skills. =)

Fremantle Memorium Park is an unforgettable place for me. Why so?

Firstly, is the green.

Spot the difference. Okay..I dun exactly mean to be mean here. Just thought that a missing character make such a huge difference.

This is heavy! No kidding!

So, back to the question, why is Fremantle Memorium Park an unforgettable place for me? We saw that there’s a group of gals having some kind of gathering there, then there are 2 gals at about 200 meters away from them, the group called the 2 gals and 1 of the gal pulled up her shirt responding to them. The guys around that park would really be disappointed coz she wears a bra, so, nothing much shown. But you wouldn’t have seen that scene in the park here though.

Thirdly, the most shiock part. Suddenly there are 2 limousines arrive(See, limousine again, told ya limousine every where!) and groups of people came out, I guess they’ve just out or heading to some outfit party or some circus thing judging from their costumes.

There’s this person who really caught our attention. Check out the blondie’s breast! They’re HUGE! Best of all, we get a chance to GRAB it!

Oppsie…. can see the nipples, guys would really love this.

Let’s zoom out. Gotcha! Are you still jealous that we get to grab her his breast?

When we’re leaving Fremantle Memorium Park, we spotted the group os gals putting their arms on the shoulder of the person infront walking in circles, you like..like how you did the “tuu tuu” train game while you’re young. Wonder wassup with that…

After that, we headed to Woodman Point Regional Park.

There’s a warning sign saying THEFT RISK AREA. So, take care of your belongings.

The signs says “Walking the dog”. This tells us that this park allow dogs walking but urh… I didn’t see any dog walking at that park that day.

Tooks some photos at the park too. But nothign much there.

Then, we headed towards Woodman Point Jetty, it’s just about 3-5 minutes walk from the park.

AaAaaahhh~ It felt so nice when my naked feet touches the clean soft sands with the coel breeze blowing towards us. It wasn’t too windy that day and the beach wasn’t too pack with people. It’s just so relaxing that I felt like lying down flat on the beach and swing my arms and legs on the sand like how Rain did it when he enjoys the bed in Full House (korean drama).

It was such a nice fine weather for fishing too.

Look at the amount of people fishing there.

People there really cared about their environment. Although there’s lotsa people fishing there, the place is quite clean. But, dun expect it to be sparkling clean. You’ll still see some fish blood stain on the ground.

Alwyn told me there’s this one time it was quite windy, the newspaper of a guy(not local) flew to the sea. You know..flew into the sea…how are we going to pick that up right? So, there’s nothing much he could do. Then, one of the locals there jump into the sea almost instantaneously to pick up the newspaper and came up scolded the guy on no action taken. So, that’s how much eople cared about their environment. I didn’t expect that. Come to think of it… Perth is a very clean place.

We caught a sight of a seal swimming around the area with its mouth open and close non-stop. I was so happy that I manage to see a real seal, not from Animal Planet as usual. Couldn’t take a clearer picture here coz he’s moving here and there.

Then, we realize that it’s got a hook stucked in its mouth. He was trying his best to loose it off(I assume it’s a he laz k?). Lucky him, he manage to remove the hook in its mouth. He must be either too lazy to hunt for fish and took his luck eating off the hook or he’s new and didn’t know what’s a hook. We were so worried that it’ll cause his death. Thank god that he managed to escape from the mishap.

After that we headed back to Alywin’s place for a rest and prepare for the night. It was such an interesting night. So, stay tune for more!
